Everyone seems to have been in the spirit this year! Maybe its the recession and the horror movie revival going on lately...
...But the simple pleasure of Halloween seems to have been in great supply this year!
For my part, we released two free albums, got the ball rolling on the label, and definitely had a fantastic weekend.
Carving pumpkins while watching the Halloween series in order. Hard cider and the utlimate ale six pack (Ichabod's Pumpkin brewed Ale, Bealzabuth 13%, Punk'n Ale, a ni… Continue

standing on my head on a unicycle with a cracked frame and one flat tire while balanced on a flaming tightrope suspended 100ft over a patch of cholla cactus in broken-glass mulch, meanwhile juggling a lit tiki torch, a running chainsaw, and a wild 40-lb bobcat hopped on PCP as I evade fire from five Marine snipers in treetops 150yd away with orders to smoke 1000 rounds each... oh, did I mention the alligators? all that, whilst I'm mentally composing an angry Letter to the Editor that likely won'… Continue
While capturing great images from the Midwest Haunters Convention and the Columbus Zombie walk the brilliant and talented photographer got a great shot of me and some fiends of mine. Be sure to check out the latest issue and visit www.13thhourmagazine.com until you get a copy for yourself.

All right you primitive screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my brainstick! You can find it in the school supplies department. That's right, this sweet baby was made by Eberhard Faber. Retails for about nine cents. It's got bonded graphite, bus-yellow paint, and... an eraser. That's right. Shop sm0rp. Shop s-c0rp. You got that?
...man, I'm dreading November...Continue

While watching the SyFy original series "Ghost Hunters," we only get to see a very small part of their personalities, but last night I got to know Jason and Grant a little better. I attended an informative lecture given by the two super nice and very down to earth guys at The Pullo Center in York, PA. They spent the evening discussing the incredible experiences they have had while doing paranormal investigations and showed some very convincing videos and EVP's they have captured. The two are bot… Continue
I just found out yesterday that the horror movie "Feast" (which has my song "Feast" from my CD in the end credits) from Scared-E-Cat Pictures will be having it's red carpet premiere Monday Nov. 2 at 7pm at Brenden Theatres at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas! I get to walk the red carpet! Continue

Last weekend was the opening of the "Ghost Ship" in Wilmington aboard the USS North Carolina. I helped to design and build the haunt, as well and trained the actord. The plan is to only sell 1500 tickets per night. On opening night without huge amounts of advertising they pulled in nearly 1000 tickets sold, plus a few comps. To top it off, there were exactly 0 security issues and only two people had to be removed, (both were volunteers working below decks)
We're hoping for a sellout for the res… Continue

You'll have to read part one to follow along but this is an update about this "Scary New Haunt."
Today I received a response (email) from the Zoning Officer from the township this haunt is in. He did go and inspect the haunt yesterday. He then sent me a chastising email in return today. I was warned as part of the email to not share the email with anyone because it was confidential. So... I will not share his email but I will give you the gist of what was in it and how I responded.
He first poin… Continue
Its a full time battle just trying to stand on your own two feet as a musician. Today's world is built on especially loose footing as a generation of end users are growing up with the idea that paying for music is completely optional.
Heck, even those of us who remember the scratch of a fresh needle on vinyl were dubbing cassettes and investing in CD-R drives before anyone had even heard of Peer to Peer- still someone somewhere in that original chain had to purchase media. For every bootleg the… Continue
Two Haunts, a comedy about zombies and a French horror play; it was another incredible weekend for my Halloween season. To start the weekend off right, on Friday evening I took a trip down to Riverdale, MD to visit GoatMan Hollow Haunted Attraction. I must say this Haunt was an excellent choice. GoatMan Hollow is a theatrical Haunt with a very elaborate storyline and at least a five minute scene acted out in every room you enter. Another unique aspect… Continue
I'm slowly adding more images to the SeeYouScream site's layout. Last night, I completed the first experiment: adding a cutout image to the right of the main area. It's really time-consuming cutting out a picture. I knew that in advance, though. I chose the monster rabbit from X-Treme Fear because it's just about the only nice picture I have that has hands (or claws) reaching in the angle I wanted. I didn't want to use Freddie, Jason, or Michael for this because I didn't want to make it look lik… Continue
