Fondest Industry Memory

Eastern Haunters Convention Bus Tour being pulled over by the Philly Police as we went down a one-way street...... the wrong way. The navagation system gave us the wrong turn and thank god the cop was there, .... we were 1 block from entering Philly's "BAD LANDS"!!! The cop said: If you would have made it past the next stop sign they would open fire on your bus for target practice, TURN THIS BUS AROUND!

At 2:23pm on December 11, 2008, Ted Mentzer said…: Thanks for the compliments!..I use all types of lighting...The clock in particular is simply black light....I painted the clock mostly brown...The clock face had several other colors....Then airbrushed black for shadowing....Finally, MISTED-NOT PAINTED-BUT MISTED the whole thing with fluorescent green to give it a glow effect with blacklight....I liked this effect so much I'll probably do most of the haunt this way eventually....Cool side note- I didn't try the mist idea until a little after a year of initially building and painting the clock the base colors so all those cob webs you see are actual webs!...They kind of jumped out when I started misting the fluorescent and thought that looked really cool at the time...The face opening is air pneumatic cylinder....Check out my video to see it open at the very end of the video...It happens really fast but it will show what it did....Thanks for the interest!....ZR

Myself, 48, single, straight, never married, no kids.

I have been producing Halloween props and How-To Instruction CD's under the name Halloween Prop Shop since 1990.

Own & operate the largest Haunted Attraction in Kenmore NY just outside Buffalo called Terror Technologies Haunted Attraction.

It is a totally enclosed outside haunt to keep the weather out.

Somewhere around 1200 square feet was enclosed last year, We averaged around 150 visitors per hour for the 4 days we were open.

Around 3000 guests visited in 2007.

Use to produce & co-host sports comedy show called Manny In The House Sports Comedy on AM Radio in Buffalo NY, we are now forming The Sports Jerks Radio Show, coming soon...
