Last weekend was the opening of the "Ghost Ship" in Wilmington aboard the USS North Carolina. I helped to design and build the haunt, as well and trained the actord. The plan is to only sell 1500 tickets per night. On opening night without huge amounts of advertising they pulled in nearly 1000 tickets sold, plus a few comps. To top it off, there were exactly 0 security issues and only two people had to be removed, (both were volunteers working below decks)

Nicknamed "The Showboat", she was the most decorated battleship in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. Having been honorable decommissioned in 1947, she has been docked in Wilmington NC since the early 1960's. She has been declared a national treasure by million of visitors.

This year she'll be called something else...The "Ghost Ship."
