Together, we shape the face of fear!

Looking around and seeing so many talented and creative people is a testament to Haunt Universe and all of those that make it happen. As a member and a group creator (Dead By Design - shameless plug!), I enjoy checking the site everyday for new ideas, communication with like minded haunters, and just meeting new people. How about taking it a step further. Why not have a gathering at, let's say, the Midwest Haunters Convention? A chance to meet and greet our fiends and family in person surrounded by all that the haunted industry has to offer! I know something like this would take some planning and work, but I think it would be a great opportunity to help bring the community together and mold new and better relationships. It could also bring more attention to the Haunt Universe itself and increase our numbers bringing even more creative and inspiring faces to the network. I would volunteer to help any way I can as I am sure most of us would. What say you, fiends? Wanna' meet the monsters face to face?

The "when" part will be the hardest part since we typically jam the weekend full of activities. For any events off of the MHC agenda I usually suggest Saturday afternoon. The trade show closes at 5 (Monster Makeup Wars end at 5:30) and the party does not kick off until 8:00 so there is a good block of time. You guys could meet for dinner before gettnig into costume for the evening. If you need "where" suggestions I can provide those as well.; ▶ Reply to This
